It's SO hot! 😓

Even if you love the heat, what's happening right now in the US is a bit much! it's hot here in Pittsburgh, but we can't complain when we see what all of you in Arizona are dealing with. In extreme heat, it's important to take extra good care of yourselves. Take it easy and stay hydrated! 

This is a good time to remind you that our products also don't handle the extreme heat very well. As a matter of fact, the only thing that can impact the quality of a jar of Simple Sugars is prolonged exposure to high temps. So what happens to a jar of Simple Sugars that's been sitting in a hot mailbox or car for several days? Well, first of all, let us assure you that the products will still work and they won't harm you in any way, but they could lose their scent, or smell "off". 

We want your Simple Sugars to arrive smelling amazing just the way they do when they leave our facility, so we want to remind you to be sure to keep an eye on your tracking information and be on the lookout for your package so you can get it out of the heat asap! If you don't see your tracking info in your inbox, be sure and check the spam or promotions folder.

If you're using Surepost shipping make sure you check the mailbox often because mailboxes can become like little ovens when the temps reach triple digits! It's also not a great idea to pick up your package from the mailbox or package room at your apartment building and then leave it sitting in your hot car while you're working all day. We all know how hot the inside of a car gets. 

Our products do not need to be refrigerated, unless you don't have air conditioning (God bless you!) and the temperature inside your house exceeds 80 degrees Fahrenheit.
